At Landscape Lighting Specialists, the process starts with a low-voltage landscape lighting consultation. Book your consultation today!

Design Phase

The process starts with a one-on-one consultation with one of our expert landscape lighting designers. It is a time for us to listen to the lighting needs of the customer, the customer's desires and style, and find out the key focal areas that are meaningful to the customer on the property. Then it is an opportunity to educate our customers about the lighting fixtures, techniques, and the designer's vision for the finished landscape lighting. Lastly, our customers ask questions or provide additional input.

Landscape Lighting Specialists offers a range of durable lighting fixtures for all budgets. For this reason, our lighting designer is there to explain the differences between the fixtures. In addition, proper lighting requires a variety of fixture types and an array of lighting techniques. Some common fixture techniques used are:

Lighting Techniques

Path-lights/ Area Lights

These lights focus on safety and ensuring you and your guests are properly guided along walkways, pathways, patios, and driveways. Likewise, the fixture lights lower plant material and plantings beds.

Up-Lights

This light is at ground level and is used to illuminate hedges, bushes, and tree canopies. Similarly, it is useful for focal lighting, wall grazing, and creating silhouettes and shadows.

Down-Lights

This light is mounted from higher up and shines down on plant material and larger areas, such as decks, patios, etc. These lights are also useful when creating moon-lighting effects.

In-Ground-Lights

This light is buried at ground level and is used to illuminate trees, for wall washing, and grazing tall hedges.

Fixture Phase

This phase is a hands-on opportunity to see and touch a variety of quality fixtures in our one-of-a kind mobile showroom. We install only durable low voltage LED light fixtures on our Palm Beach properties. We know that our fixtures have to withstand the harsh elements, such as the saltwater and the Florida sun. Some additional perks for using LED lights are low maintenancelong-lasting, and require less energy than other outdoor lighting options. Additionally, low voltage LED lights UV output lessens the attraction of bugs and insects.

Approval Phase

The approval phase is exactly like it sounds. The customer approves the final design for the low-voltage landscape lighting by signing the contract. In addition to the contact, the customer provides a 50% deposit. Subsequently, the job is scheduled on the calendar at the earliest possible date for installation.

Installation Phase

Watch our knowledgeable installation team mystify you with their speed and expertise as they install your custom landscape lighting. You will hardly know we have been there because we take care to protect existing plant material and hard-scapes, i.e. paver areas, rocked areas, etc.  Additionally, the technicians water-proof all wire connections to guard against the rainy, wet conditions of Florida. Furthermore, our installation crews will maintain the utmost respect and courtesy while on your property. Finally, the crew will clean up the job site daily. From start to finish, we want your experience with Landscape Lighting Specialists to be a great one!
